What is selphie?

Selphie is a wellness practice that provides a safe, reflective space where people can explore their thoughts, process trauma, and reconnect with who they are — through both conversation and creativity.

Who founded selphie?

My name is Karen.
I have over 27 years of experience working in mental health and emotional support, including in the NHS.
I have worked with people in crisis, trauma, major life transitions, identity loss, burnout, and family strain.

I am trained in:

  • Counselling

  • Therapeutic Intervention

  • EMDR Trauma Therapy

  • ADHD-informed support

  • Group and reflective practice work

I don’t talk at you.
I don’t sugar-coat.
And I don’t assume I know your life better than you do.

My job is to work with you to:

  • Understand what’s been happening

  • Support your nervous system to stabilise

  • Identify what needs to change

  • Build strategies that you can actually use in your life

This is not about “fixing” you.
It is about helping you return to yourself.

Is it safe to share feelings?

Yes, it's a safe space and confidentiality is part of the service.

Can I join crafting sessions?

Yes, everyone is welcome. Keep an eye out for available dates and times.
